Update February 2026:

Hello, and thank you for checking out my website. I have been LONG overdue for an update. I am currently working at one location only: Revive Spa in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. It has been my primary work spot for over 8 years, and I am happy to share that I am now there 5 days a week. I am so fortunate to have a steady professional home for so long. I can barely believe I have been doing this work for over a dozen years. At this time there are no plans to see clients privately, but of course I will keep you in the loop if / when that changes.

Unfortunately this message remains relevant from when I wrote it in 2022, so I would like to reiterate: all bodies and all genders are welcome on my table. The last place you should feel any pressure or judgement on your body should be in the massage room, and it is always my aim to make the space feel as safe as possible for you. Whether that is changing the temperature in the room, switching up the music, raising or lowering the head rest, the session is always customized for your comfort. Which leads to point number two: you are in control of the session. I enjoy doing what I do, but this is your time on the table and I want to make sure you feel like you’re getting the most bang for your buck. If you want to end early, or want more time on a certain part of the body, please let me know so I can accommodate accordingly.

Chicago relinquished its mask mandate, so masking during sessions is optional. Please do whatever feels most comfortable for you. For those with immunity issues for themselves or taking precautions for loved ones, I am happy to mask upon request for your safety.

Be well,

~Paul

Services

Massage

Customized to your needs, the service may include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, or Sports massage traits. I am also a Reiki Master and will incorporate this energy work upon request.

  • 30m: intended for specific work and not recommended for full-body sessions.

  • 60m: perfect for a full-body massage with some detail work for ailing areas, or deep tissue work for upper or lower body issues.

  • 90m: full-body massage and all the specific work you need, this is self-care at its peak.

Cupping

With origins in Chinese medicine, cupping has been in use for thousands of years to increase blood flow throughout the body and work to release high-tension areas. While massage presses down on the body, cupping pulls the skin up into the cup, effectively making it the inverse of massage. This myofascial decompression does leave marks on the body that may last for the duration of the session up to several days after. While traditional cupping includes lighting a fire to warm the cup before placing on the body, modern advancements now include silicone and plastic cups that do not need live fire, and are safer for both the client and practitioner.

All services are for health purposes only.

Benefits of Massage

Information provided by the Associated Massage & Bodywork Professionals

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress-related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. Massage is an effective tool for managing this stress, which translates into:

  • Decreased anxiety.

  • Enhanced sleep quality.

  • Greater energy.

  • Improved concentration.

  • Increased circulation.

  • Reduced fatigue.

Massage can also help specifically address a number of health issues. Bodywork can:

  • Alleviate low-back pain and improve range of motion.

  • Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays.

  • Ease medication dependence.

  • Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body's natural defense system.

  • Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles.

  • Help athletes of any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts.

  • Improve the condition of the body's largest organ—the skin.

  • Increase joint flexibility.

  • Lessen depression and anxiety.

  • Promote tissue regeneration, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks.

  • Pump oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs, improving circulation.

  • Reduce postsurgery adhesions and swelling.

  • Reduce spasms and cramping.

  • Relax and soften injured, tired, and overused muscles.

  • Release endorphins—amino acids that work as the body's natural painkiller.

  • Relieve migraine pain.
